Principle

We take the protection of your personal data seriously and comply with the Swiss Data Protection Act (revFADP) and, where applicable, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data is processed on this website only to the extent technically necessary, and is not sold or rented to third parties. This statement describes when and why we process which data.

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare operates a global content delivery network that, for technical reasons, generates server log files (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer, user agent). These logs are used exclusively for the security, operation and stability of the service and are processed by Cloudflare in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not merge this data with other data sources.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies for tracking or advertising. To show the intro video once per visit, a purely technical entry is stored in your browser's session storage. It contains no personal data, is not transmitted to us, and is automatically deleted when you close the browser tab.

Web analytics with Plausible

We use Plausible Analytics in a self-hosted variant (on pl.stefanko.ch) to collect anonymous usage statistics. Plausible is deliberately a data-light analytics tool:

• No cookies are set
• No personal data such as full IP addresses or browser fingerprints is stored
• No cross-site tracking takes place
• Only aggregated metrics such as page views, time on page and country of origin are collected

Contact form and spam protection

When you contact us via the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, email address, subject, message content) solely to handle your request and for any follow-up questions. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and in initiating a potential contractual relationship.

The form is protected against spam and automated requests with Cloudflare Turnstile — a privacy-friendly CAPTCHA replacement that works without cookies and without tracking. On submission, a one-time token is sent to Cloudflare to verify that the request comes from a real browser (see the Cloudflare privacy policy).

The message is delivered via the email service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA), which forwards your enquiry as an email to our internal inbox. You also receive an automatic confirmation of receipt at the address you provided. Details in the Resend privacy policy.

Fonts (Google Fonts)

For a consistent appearance we use fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser fetches the required fonts from Google's servers (Google Ireland Limited), transmitting your IP address to Google. Google's privacy policy applies.

Retention

We process personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose. Contact form enquiries are deleted once they have been fully handled and no statutory retention obligations apply.

This website contains links to external third-party websites. We have no influence on their content or data processing. The privacy policies of the linked providers apply.

Your rights

Within the scope of applicable law, you have the right at any time to information about the data we process about you, as well as to its correction, deletion or restriction of processing. To exercise these rights, contact us via our contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Data security

This website is transmitted exclusively over encrypted HTTPS (TLS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Changes to this statement

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy from time to time so that it always meets current legal requirements or to reflect changes in our services. The latest version will apply on your next visit.
